This absolutely mouth-watering infographic is shared with permission from QuickSprout. It shows you the best times for posting your content to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram. If you use Buffer, you will see that there is a scheduler which shows you when your own content is most looked at. If you use the free version of Buffer, you won’t have access to that scheduler – it’s well worth upgrading to the $10 per month version…and no, they don’t pay me to say that. It’s just a great tool that saves you a ton of time.

Posting your content at the best time will optimize your chances of it being seen by the most people and then being shared by them. Unfortunately, all times aren’t created equal. Each social media site has a different optimal time for posting.

One way around all of this is to just keep posting it repeatedly. Don’t go mad though – spread it out throughout the day. If you bombard people every half an hour (or put up six at a time…don’t you hate that?) you might find yourself muted or blocked and then your post will not be going viral.

So read, enjoy and take the appropriate action…and let me know if your post goes viral :)
